1394A external device can't be recognized

+ P' F3 o4 A0 @9 T' W! yI encounter this kind of issue recently.

. f+ @; }: E8 B4 p' hOS is Vista & XP.

1394A controller is Ricoh.

the situation is I could see the removable icon shown on the system tray but there is no device in OS device manager.

: n3 |9 U- x. G6 w! E5 J; xindeed there are some differents but I don't know why.

I wonder it's caused by BIOS but how to prove it?
