1394A external device can't be recognized

3 F4 J6 W8 X4 POS is Vista & XP.

5 X) Q1 K- _' T- W* P. `( J1394A controller is Ricoh.

# X+ v2 _" F. p) \8 r& G: K: Hthe situation is I could see the removable icon shown on the system tray but there is no device in OS device manager.

I wonder it's caused by BIOS but how to prove it?

is there any spec or document could let me refer to?
