I encounter this kind of issue recently.

OS is Vista & XP.

- k/ b7 B- |( _9 a# Athe situation is I could see the removable icon shown on the system tray but there is no device in OS device manager.& A2 ]; B) ]+ x, ?) Z
- ? @7 G: n% R/ _& Z: A- G6 u
indeed there are some differents but I don't know why.

I wonder it's caused by BIOS but how to prove it?
